Delroy’s Contribution in Films

While performing at The Playboy Club in London, the house disc jockey handed Delroy a business card and told him to call the gentleman on the card. Delroy placed the call and the gentleman turned out to be the producer of The Saint starring Roger Moore. The producer offered Delroy a part in the television series which started Delroy’s film career.

Furthering his studying in drama and acting, Delroy funneled his creative talents into television acting getting roles in a number of programs: British TV and American TV programs like “Petticoat Junction”, “The Saint”, “Us Girls”, and “The Knock”. In 2004, Delroy Williams was cast for the police show “The Bill” for two episodes as James Simeon the Rastafarian flower shop driver. Delroy was cast as a pedestrian in the 2005 smash hit film “Batman Begins”. He also acted in television advertisements for” Puma” and “One Step Beyond” which is a Castle Music best-selling CD compilation. In 2018, Delroy was cast for a British TV pilot called “Batty Boy”.

In 2019, Delroy was cast for a role in Elton John’s “Rocket Man” as well as the film “Last Christmas”. Delroy was also cast in the popular British TV series “Brassic” as well as various commercials including “The British Beer Alliance” and the World Cup Cricket commercial in 2019. Delroy completed a Wimbledon Tennis commercial in 2020 which will be released when tennis resumes post Covid-19.
